Description

Octant’s social media network mapping and content modeling approaches will be leveraged to create high-resolution models of information environments spanning key neighboring countries, issues, and state media sources likely to be targeted by information and influence operations. These models will enable the ability to rapidly understand the narratives being spread through the network and how they change over time. This capability will provide insights into the language used in information operations and how exactly that messaging is leveraged to influence particular community segments within a target population. In turn, these insights will enable high-quality strategic decision making and planning on how to most effectively counter-message and maintain information advantage.
