Description
This proposal is for research into various configurations to reduce or eliminate the drag and resulting lateral loading that result from the shotgun connector and evaluate the potential overall weapon system improvement by simulating the trajectory of the improved system. Three configurations will be studied by computational fluid dynamics to estimate aerodynamic properties and utilized to simulate the missile trajectory to identify range improvements.
