Description
McQ has developed the Fragment Size Analysis and Tracking (FSAT) system which replaces the ring of switch screens used to record fragment impact time in ground based arena and sled testing with a network of sensors containing high speed cameras. FSAT will record and analyze video of warhead fragmentation then automatically produce a report describing the mass, size, speed, and trajectory of each fragment. In Phase II, McQ will complete the design of the system, assemble it, and perform live arena tests to quantify its performance in relevant environments. Approved for Public Release 14-MDA-7739 (18 March 14).
