Description
ABSTRACT: We propose to develop a novel power management strategy which is implemented with an intelligent embedded software monitor/control application to balance power consumption against receiver performance. BENEFIT: The initial application is a range of DoD, and later potentially commercial, ground based GPS receiver equipment. This technology and product will enable lighter GPS manpacks, and longer life battery operations for our warfighters.
