Description

Torch proposes an innovative fusion of key technologies associated with an optimized asset pairing of sensors and weapon systems supporting enhanced interceptor utilization. Our real-time sensor/weapon asset pairing (SWAP) algorithm and data fusion framework seeks to optimize sensor resource and weapons management in a synergistic fashion where sensor and weapon constraints are addressed in parallel with system resource planning. Torch has chosen to make sensor constraint processing a key component of our Phase II real-time SWAP architecture along with an information based non-myopic multiple postulate resource management (MPRM) planning process. The Torch approach leverages our significant experience with regard to the development of real-time network based data fusion architectures. Our Phase II work plan focuses on the implementation and demonstration of a real-time SWAP architecture based upon sensor, weapon, system, and feature performance models integrated within highly efficient MPRM planning algorithms in a network feedback processing architecture. Approved for Public Release 14-MDA-7739 (18 March 14).
