Description
The bulk filtering algorithm is designed to suppress or eliminate uninteresting objects from a sensor data stream allowing sensor management systems to focus finite resources more effectively on objects of interest. During Phase II Vadum will carry out a series of demonstrations showing the incremental integration of their bulk filter approach within a high fidelity lab environment. Vadum will assess the performance of the machine learning approach at multiple locations within the signal processing logic of the targeted system to identify the configuration of greatest benefit. The bulk filtering solution is implemented as a non-invasive software enhancement to the radar, supplementing rather than replacing existing components.
