Description
This project aims to further develop the technology of frequency stabilized lasers for microwave generation, laser radar and other precision measurement applications. The goal is to decrease the noise floor of the stabilized laser to ~ 6 x 10^-16 at 1 s, and improve operational robustness to allow the device to be transported and operated at the Hz level in stand-alone operation, and mitigate the effects of the ambient environment on the stability.
