Description
A Compact Bidirectional Acoustic Airflow Meter has been developed for gas turbine and other applications. Phase I work has resulted in a non-intrusive meter capable of reading gas flows at high speed in either direction, with a dynamic range exceeding 1000:1. A ruggedized, high-temperature version capable of measuring gas turbine bleed flow will be developed in Phase II.
