Description
Demand for energy efficiency is paving the way for the use of hydrogen fuel, and thus hydrogen fuel storage. Rapid TPC proposes exploring using advanced-composite materials for the transport and storage of hydrogen fuel. Steel currently has a role in hydrogen storage and we are keen to build on Pittsburgh's long-standing history as a steel town to usher in a new hydrogen storage solution using thermoplastic composites. The Air Force has begun exploring hydrogen fuel. Rapid TPC envisions building the technology to store and transport hydrogen fuel, thus advancing the capability behind this burgeoning fuel source.
