Description
Iris Technology proposes to develop an Open Architecture, High Efficiency Renewable Energy System that has at its core an efficient, smart, highly flexible Controller. The Iris HERES will be equipped with state of the art renewable energy technology that provides the best balance of performance, economic value, and battlefield survivability in a HMMWV trailer-mounted compatible package. The Open Architecture will yield a design that is readily upgradeable as new renewable energy technologies emerge. Risk is substantially reduced by maintaining close legacy to the SPACES and GREEN Controller designs.
