Description
We are proposing a Wirelessly Powered Smart Tag (WiPST) that integrates a miniaturized novel antenna with a high efficiency rectifier circuit. Our proposed design integrates our latest breakthrough developments in highly efficient rectifier design and wireless power transfer unit. We will leverage our years of experience in designing wireless sensor systems and packaging for harsh environments to ensure a WiPST packaging that can endure demanding environmental requirements of the rotorcraft platform. Our Phase I research will also focus on developing and demonstrating the key components of the WiPST system.
