Description
Critical enriched isotopes are in short supply. Those that are available are purchased from unstable and foreign sources. Alameda Applied Sciences Corporation proposes to demonstrate a high throughput plasma enrichment technology for stable isotopes. Commercial Applications and Other Benefits: Rare stable isotopes like 40Ca are valued at more than $20K/gram using current enrichment technologies. The proposed enrichment technology could produce the same isotopes for a fraction of the cost.
