Description
Skypad Tech (Skypad) is proposing to take our Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) Mobile Optical System (M.O.S.) and modify it to enhance the US Air Force’s need for distributed operations. We have developed M.O.S. to take Heads Up Displays (HUDs) and the Augmented Reality (AR) associated with them to the next level. The increasing complexity and speed of operations required of our Airmen and Guardians are outstripping the cognitive capacity of the unaided human. From the air operations centers to the satellite control stations, the need for supporting technology is increasingly vital to processing information. Airmen must separate what is important from what is not and present it in ways that can be quickly understood and acted upon. Skypad’s Mobile Optical System (MOS) directly answers this requirement. MOS is an augmented reality system that takes conventional HUDs and significantly evolves the functionality and usability into a new type of technology.
