Lighting in deployable shelters is required 24 hours a day and typically there is a greater demand for light during the daylight hours. Linden Photonics proposes the use of fiber optics to create a hybrid lighting system that will be a lightweight, fully passive, easily deployable solar based lighting system. Our system is designed to track the sun with no use of electronics or GPS.
