Description
OEwaves Inc. and AMO Physics Center of JILA propose to develop a novel monolithic ultra-stable portable whispering gallery mode resonator suitable for operation in a wide range of environmental conditions. The resonator will deliver the same performance as the best existing high-end laboratory Fabry-Perot resonatorswhich are large, expensive, and fragile table-mounted instrumentsbut in a robust 100 cc module that is inexpensive and consumes little power.
