Description
This innovation will create a high heat flux device to remove waste heat from densely packed solid-state devices increasing the current thermal conductivity of conduction planes, heat spreaders, heat sinks and thermal planes from the typical state of the art of 167 W/mdegreesK (aluminum) to over 1500 W/mdegreesK while maintaining the current packaging envelop and design. This increase in thermal conductivity will allow solid state devices to operate nearly a magnitude cooler. This innovation will also provide an adaptable and scalable product that can readily fit into current and future designs.
