Description
Sentient will be developing a Smart DigitalClone Sensor for application to rotorcraft drivetrains and other rotating components on high value systems. This technology is enabled by our DigitalClone Ground Truth model, developed through Navy and Army SBIR funding and validated with multiple OEM partners. This technology predicts the behavior of the drivetrain from physics based model and merges this behavior prediction with vibration, load and torque measured at a limited location in the drivetrain. The predicted signal will be compared to the detected signal to detect and confirm the fault severity and location. Through this use of smart filtering specific faults will be identified earlier through using data under a wide range of operating conditions and the smart filter will ensure detection is false alarm free.
