Description
The IRIS connected – Digital Night Vision Goggle (I-DNVG) integrates a fully digital pilot night and degraded vision capability, along with aircraft instrumentation and flight monitoring data in a head-up display that is mounted to the pilot’s helmet. Sage will team with Outerlink Global Solutions (Outerlink), the developer and manufacturer of the IRIS system, to provide a seamless access to the avionics suite data that will be presented along with the sensor imagery on the near-eye display. In addition to the flight status and performance data, there will be safety information presented, and the data can be recorded for post mission analysis, training and maintenance support activity. Data display can be customized for the aircraft type and pilot needs.
