Description
This proposal builds on earlier development activities by applying AFE concepts to the UHF MILSATCOM Channel Monitoring System. The UHF MILSATCOM Channel Monitoring System monitors quality of service (QoS) on UHF MILSATCOM channels, alerts operators to anomalies, supports space situational awareness, and records channel activity for analysis. With the application of AFE concepts to this system, signal activity can be automatically classified in near real-time on each of the UHF MILSATCOM channels. The classification data can then be used to support the identification of typical signal activity on the network as well as the presence of atypical signal activity, including interferers.
