Description
As part of this SBIR project our firm will combine algorithmic information theory with deterministic and stochastic optimization techniques to create an optimization co-processor for wireless nodes. We will focus on the problem of change-point detection in resource-constrained wireless sensor networks to realize an effective solution. We are specifically targeting Android operating system (OS) hand-held devices and cell-phones. Our solution concept consists of a Device Capability Manager that determines the dynamic state and availability of resources, a Network Capability Manager that assesses the dynamic state of the network, and a Resource Optimization Co-Processor that optimally assigns resources for maximum efficiency. These components form the framework for a practical and innovative solution to the this SBIR.
