Description
Triton Systems will develop a system utilizing head-mounted vibration transducers to cancel damaging vibrational energy in the skull which can cause hearing loss. Skull vibration cancellation could possibly mitigate the 2 ways in which vibrational energy causes human hearing loss: Sounds transmitted through the air to the eardrum and inner ear Sound transmitted through the skull to the inner ear We will continue to model and develop the system to address sound transmitted directly through the skull to the inner ear.
