Description
Based on our success in developing the world first commercial 100 micro Joule femtosecond fiber laser system and our leading technology development in ultrashort pulsed fiber laser, PolarOnyx proposes an all fiber based high energy ultrashort fiber laser to meet with the requirement of the solicitation N103-210. Issues of nonlinear evolution, dispersion management and TOD compensation have been identified and solutions are proposed. A tabletop experiment of 1 uJ energy<1 ps will be demonstrated in Phase I time frame for proof of the concept. A prototype of>5 uJ will be delivered in Phase II.
