Description
This proposed work is to advance the Electric Sparker Impulsive Source (ESIS) sonobuoy and its specialized parts technology into a sonobuoy. This includes developing a new low cost high voltage switch and converting the packaging to meet A-size sonobuoy air-droppable form factor requirements. ESIS buoys will be developed and delivered, to support PMA-264 testing and to obtain in-situ environmental information for multistatic ASW detection.
