Description
Streamline Automation, LLC., is proposing a development program designed to explore the feasibility of achieving hyperkinetic launch capability with a novel electro-thermal gun concept. The new launch system will be insensitive materials compliant, will employ a highly efficient trigger technology which will simplify system design and operation and enable energy conversion efficiencies two to three times greater than those of chemically powered guns. During Phase I SA will demonstrate concept feasibility and features with a small caliber experimental system. In Phase II SA will perform analysis, optimization, component integration and testing of a larger caliber system and will develop a realistic plan for technology maturation through Phase III.
