Description

This project will result in investigation and modeling of heat flow in a Bi2Te3-Sb2Te3 superlattice based thermoelectric cooler stack and the development of the series of processes for negative electron affinity activation of the stack substrate as a basis for an advanced sensor cooler in which current is transported across a vacuum gap that acts as a conduction and convection thermal barrier between the stack and the outside environment.
