Description
The Small Business Innovation Research Phase II project will develop and demonstrate a Battery Management System (BMS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing platform for the 6T Li-ion battery program. The BMS HIL platform will be designed to test BMS units in a laboratory and manufacturing environment to ensure they meet current and future requirements. The project also includes the development of a cyber security testing software to test the BMS HIL platform's security measures. This will ensure the safety and reliability of the battery packs used in military applications. The project team includes experts in battery modeling, hardware development, and cyber security testing. The ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive testing platform that can help reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase the safety of military battery packs.
