Description
This Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I project will develop an innovative, passive thermal management system consisting of a heat sink with high conductance and thermal storage capabilities. The proposed effort utilizes Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc.’s thermal management expertise to design and leverage ACT’s previous manufacturing development to fabricate a high thermal conductance card heat sink with integrated thermal storage, which will spread heat from high power density electronics components and store heat to be radiated over an extended time period, thus enabling high-power and pulsed power functionalities.
