Description
In this effort, we propose development and integration of a scalable, secure, open-architecture and adaptable flight control capability for all United States Air Force (USAF) SUAS platforms. Tasking on this Phase I SBIR would be focused primarily on performing a study on current and near-term Air Force SUAS platforms where an analysis would be performed to determine level of effort and timeframes to develop scalable and modular variants of the IronClad SFC, including the complexity of integration on each platform. This study would include processing requirements, size weight and power (SWaP) constraints, payload connectors and digital I/Os, and preferred radio integration options. At the end of this Phase I, a report will be generated with the findings. Additionally, we will identify specific USAF stakeholders who use SUAS (AFSOC, etc.) and engage with the stakeholders to gauge interest and requirements.
