Description
The approval of this requested The Phase II Enhancement will improve the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of the overall MEDIC product by delivering a Pose Estimation capability that is much better suited to actual use conditions the product (and warfighter medics) will face. Namely, this Enhancement funding will improve the MEDIC software’s ability to properly align the displayed imagery onto a casualty in a non-standing position. The specific task proposed focuses on the improvement of the Pose Estimation capability of the underlying software and will improve the physical registration of any Augmented Reality (AR) information that is projected onto the body of the patient.
