Description

While digital transformation is a known priority of the DAF, it will only be successful when the physical time that Airmen & Guardians spend together in meetings, workshops, and events is fully digitized. Time is one of the DAF’s most precious resources and it is zero-sum. Every minute spent in a wasteful meeting eats into time for solo work that’s equally essential for creativity, efficiency, and dominance. Spotty use of digital tools can be powerful and incremental culture change from their use can occur in pockets. But, until individuals and groups across the DAF actually optimize their time through use of the latest digital empowerment, the DAF will not have the highest performing warfighters on the planet. Current briefings, meetings, readouts, conferences, seminars, webinars, & training are hindered by last century’s thinking. A meeting objective, agenda, and PowerPoint are not enough to leapfrog the competition. Our Airmen & Guardians need: Connected tools Real time data Data and security transference Digitally optimized processes Strategic digital facilitation Personalized best practice sharing VR & AR optimization iteration Leapfrog/NextGen Web3 thinking and technology Digital governance & decision making   The Difference a2c, LLC (theDifference) proposes to develop, deploy, and test a new product that leverages Virtual Reality, Web3, and Metaverse technologies to achieve the DAF’s aim to create a new, digital working environment where high performance Airmen & Guardians can thrive. Called Hyper-D (for Hyper Performance Digital), our product will build our expertise in advanced collaboration and digital transformation techniques into an integrated set of digital tools for everyday work, meetings, training, and events. This new product is based on theDifference’s Metaverse Facilitation product, Collaboration Engineer product, Digital Playbook product, and Technology Integration Intelligence product.
