Description
The Elroy Air Chaparral is a transitioning VTOL UAS developed for the commercial and NGO logistics markets to transport cargo by air autonomously, to expand the reach of express logistics as customers demand increasingly greater performance. The program objectives are to demonstrate core platform capabilities, to adapt the system for flexible ISR and rapid deploy from a C-130, and to develop an outlined curriculum to train the Air Force in the deployment and use of this new UAS. The effort will include stakeholder meetings to align priorities, reviews of system and sub-system designs and prototypes, and field demonstrations of the developed functionality.
