Description

Krypton 222nm far UV disinfection lighting is safe for human exposure and can autonomously and continuously disinfect occupied spaces, which is essential for containing and mitigating the emerging threat of COVID-19 and similar outbreaks in which potentially infected human carriers in occupied locations are often not distinguishable from the non-carriers.  The benefits of infectious disease mitigation include increased productivity, reduced economic burden from both medical and lost labor costs, and reduced morbidity and mortality. The objective of this program is to optimize and deploy Krypton disinfection lighting for several Air Force operating environments throughout their facilities and aircraft. Commercial applications are extensive as far UV disinfection is appropriate for any occupied space, including home, work, commerce, transit, medical, and more.
