Description
During this proposed Phase II, Ghost Robotics will partner with Patrick Space Force Base / Cape Canaveral Space Launch Site to conduct R&D non-recurring engineering to introduce new LIDAR AI/anomaly detection capabilities for disaster recovery / damage assessment and persistent security use cases. The R&D modifications and enhancements will enable the robots to detect threat items like drugs and explosive parts, and will enhance the robot’s unstructured terrain operability, including urban rubble, shoreline, and devastated environments. This will improve the accuracy of damage assessment and shoreline patrol activities, free up manpower, and help PSFB/CCSFS return to launch activities faster after disasters or mishaps.
