Description
The CoachMePlus software platform delivers a scalable human performance platform that covers all five Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) disciplines. The H2F Management System SBIR initiative will allow our team to validate this assertion as part of a live operational test with multiple Army units. The US Army, Air Force (USAF), Navy (USN), and professional and collegiate sports teams across the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, MLS, and NCAA have recognized the power of applied science and next-generation human performance analytics to uncover fitness trends, develop insights, reduce injury risk, and maximize readiness. In collaboration with The Informatics Applications Group (TIAG), a leader in military medicine and Health Information Technology, the CoachMePlus platform has been tailored for the DoD as the Warrior Performance Platform (WP2). WP2 provides for multi-channel data collection, enabling holistic evaluations that can be tailored to reflect each command’s unique requirements. Consistent with our large commercial client relationships, we can integrate with Army data fabric by both ingesting data (such as Soldier lists and unit IDs) and by exporting human performance data gathered by CoachMePlus back into the Army data fabric, via API or file import/export. The Army requires a platform that centralizes and displays human performance information, centered on the H2F operating concept of fitness, nutrition, sleep, mental, and spiritual readiness. WP2 operates on web-enabled devices and through native iOS and Android apps and optionally integrates with enterprise and consumer personal wearable fitness and physical activity tracking devices. In a series of pilots and active programs spanning USN, USAF, Army Reserves, and the Army Recovery Care Program, the CoachMePlus team has gained crucial experience in preparation for large military deployments. In Army environments, the ratio of Soldiers to practitioners (athletic trainers, nutritionists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, registered dietitians, strength and conditioning coaches, etc.) can be challenging. The WP2 platform supports automated algorithm-driven content driven by Army best-practices as well as manual interventions driven by H2F staff. This instructional and educational content is delivered through programming tools, activity plans, and searchable libraries, utilizing video, text, questionnaires, forms, tests, and more. Alerts are routed to the proper person according to the severity and nature of the situation. The system contains configurable roles and responsibilities that allow the Army to rapidly build out a robust and scalable program across all five H2F domains. This persistent repository of Soldier data will allow for actionable real time data at the unit level while simultaneously providing command with the ability to drive methodical improvement across the force by providing structure for analysis and accountability.
