Description

Southie Autonomy’s solution is  a novel no code, rapid method for robot instruction There is no learning curve. Training new loading configurations can happen in minutes, and the same robot can accomplish a nearly infinite multitude of tasks. Using Southie Autonomy’s full robot arm solution, Codiac, to automate the handling of ammunition, this physically intensive task will be offloaded from personnel, while ensuring a steady rapid rate of reload and firing of self-propelled howitzers. Any soldier can easily deploy Codiac within minutes, using a simple wave of The Wand (UX device) to tell the robot to load ammunition into the howitzer. No coding or programming is required and Codiac will be able to track in real-time the ammunition it takes from storage and loads into the cannon.
