Brighton Cromwell, LLC — Department of Defense SBIR Phase II: DLA181-006

Description

This program introduces an approach from Brighton Cromwell to improve product availability and increase competition through the development of Small Business eligible manufacturing for part number HJ7-50A coaxial cable radio frequency NSN 6145-01-123-7019. There is no current military supplier for this part. We are offering to qualify as an Approved Source for this Critical Weapon System Item/ HJ7-50A coaxial cable specifically identified in our proposal. In this effort we will obtain samples and perform due diligence, reverse engineering, create engineering drawings, positive material identifications, assign proper quality control documentation, and pertinent technical activities to complete a Technical Data Package in accordance with the DLA aviation requirements, MIL-STD-31000 and preliminary information to submit a SAR for evaluation and acceptance. At the same time we are developing the technical Data Package we will start identifying all testing required to qualify this cable in accordance with USAF aviation regulation, standards, compliance, testing,etc. to be able to submit a successful SAR and become a supplier for this part.
