Description
Chaplains Corps. delivers an important emotional support function of both a spiritual and non-spiritual nature to Airmen, Spouses, and Families, affecting Force Readiness. COVID-19 has amplified the impact geography places on barriers to care; as a result, AF seeks a tool to connect Airmen and families who are separated from care, regardless of if the barrier to care is due to geography, emotions, or stigma. We propose developing a TeleVirtual Ministry application for Airmen, Spouses, and Families that is convenient to access through a smartphone and provides a private and flexible environment for Chaplains to support their mission objectives.
