Description

The primary goal of the Phase I effort is to demonstrate the applicability of ATSsim Suite and associated exercise support services to USAF installation training requirements. While the DoD issues common guidance regarding protection and emergency management functions, each of the services implement that guidance in a manner that best fits their unique requirements. This effort will demonstrate the applicability of ATSsim and associated exercise support services to the training needs of a cross-section of Active and National Guard units in order to enhance resilience and readiness. ATSsim Suite and associated installation-level exercise planning, design, execution and assessment services provide the technology and expertise to reduce the individual installation’s exercise burden while maximizing the effectiveness of the exercise program, building the readiness and resiliency of installations to execute their mission in support of the defense of our nation. ATSsim Suite and associated services save supported organization an average 40 to 90 man-days of work throughout the exercise life cycle. Additionally, since the tools are proprietary, ATS continuously increases their functionality, customizing them to the needs of emerging customers. The tools can be tailored for application through commercialization to other Services as well as non-DOD customers.
