Description
The purpose of this research and development project is to design and develop an innovative adaptive training solution. The resulting Intelligent Scenario Management Framework (ISMF) architecture will provide life cycle support for adaptive training that includes training content creation, training execution, performance measurement, After Action Review (AAR), and adaptive training content generation. Building off the results of the first ISMF SBIR project, this project will adapt the Maestro™ ISR training tool and the underlying ISMF-based adaptive content management method, framework, and architecture for Maritime ISR (MISR) training application and operational use. Important Navy-specific enhancements to Maestro™ will include the development of a web-based MISR training capability that will run on SIPRNet and advanced MISR learning content management. The resulting ISMF solution will enable the development of future MISR training standards and provide a web-based solution for distributed MISR training, and detailed performance analysis for benchmarking and developing best practices.
