Description
KBSI proposes to research, design, and demonstrate the Adaptive Digital Enabler of Personal assistance Technology (ADEPT). ADEPT is a Digital Personal Assistant (DPA) designed to enhance the effectiveness of ISR analysts by addressing their ingestion, analysis, and packaging needs. The proposed ADEPT capability will support automated data ingest and clean up, automated intelligent data fusion and knowledge creation, online learning, and effective collaboration among ISR analyst teams. ADEPT’s architecture will increase the rate and accuracy of ISR analyst’s data processing while at the same time increasing the depth of insights and quality of connections and forward looking knowledge derived from data fusion. ADEPT will make accessible the full power of ISR systems and data through an optimized and evolving natural language human-machine interface. The proposed Phase I effort will establish ADEPT requirements and focused demonstration use-cases, design semantic data processing, semantic interpretation, and fusion methods, design the ADEPT architecture, and demonstrate a proof of concept ADEPT technology using realistic ISR use cases and simulated test data. Phase II will design and build a focused ADEPT military application.
