Description
Progeny Systems proposes to develop a system for displaying relevant information to the submarine command team, overlaid on imaging streams by using augmented reality techniques. Progeny will allow decision makers to select bathymetric, navigational, contact management, and other information in context as layers over an imaging feed. This approach will provide increased situational awareness while reducing information overload and lowering overall cognitive load associated with safe navigation.
