Description

Progeny will provide an operational proof of concept that integrates with the current Food Service Management application as a service, identify viable hardware for the mobile platform to be used in the shipboard environment, prototype an operational proof-of-concept of the mobile platform. The prototype will demonstrate data interface and provide screen mock-ups. Progeny will also prepare any supporting documentation and define operational and technical evaluation metrics to support Phase II demonstration. Our true innovation for this effort will be to create an application that can natively deploy to multiple mobile platforms by leveraging the Xamarin framework. The applications will provide an initial layout and feasibility of the following: touch-capable navigation, work task assignment, recipe conversion, temperature and time logging, Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point tracking, and food service documentation preparation. Additional efforts will demonstrate the feasibility of providing step-by-step interactive training, on-station video tutorials, and provide the ability to comment and take notes while training. Progeny has a proven track record of managing Certification and Accreditation packages from the creation of those packages, to guiding those packages through the approval process, and finally maintaining that packages security posture through the applications life cycle.
