Description
There are a multitude of metal 3D-printing technologies on the market today. While many of these technologies provide significant advantages in certain areas, they all share two points in common: they are slow and size-limited. This limits the usefulness of these technologies for all but the slowest, highest-value applications. IO is proposing to adapt its high-speed high-tolerance CBAM technology for the 3D manufacture of metal composites. Early feasibility studies have shown that parts can be made using the CBAM process, though many details remain to be studied before commercialization.
