Description
Due to the limitations of traditional manufacturing, vehicle design has required that components of all kinds are separate pieces. Electronics is no exception. Today, vehicle electronics are typically consolidated into one or two places and sensors are so expensive that they are only used where they are critical. IO’s 3D-printing process can allow for decentralized electronics designs that allow engineers to optimize for cost and functionality, rather than be limited by the design requirements of traditional manufacturing.
