Description
The key objective of this SBIR Phase II.5 effort is to utilize and integrate the current strengths of various HyPerComp EM tools such as CAD2Mesh, HDphysics and UWVF, into a single user friendly computational environment and provide program support to PMA-231 in addressing various Navy interests, especially the TTNT antenna development and installation for the E-2D platform (Figure 3). Some of the activities to be undertaken are 1) creating the necessary graphical user interface (GUI) for running various software components, 2) verification and validation of Navy specific antenna/structure test cases to establish accuracy and computational resource requirements for modeling large-scale platforms, 3) providing software documentations and training manuals, 4) providing software installation at NAVAIR computing facilities, and 5) close coupling with NAVAIR 4.5.5 Radar and Antenna Systems Division to transition these advanced EM tools for routine Navy use.
