Description
Corvid Technologies proposes a high fidelity computational physics (HFCP) development approach to achieve the technology improvement goals sought by the U.S. Army and specifically PEO Aviation.Corvids established commercial multi-physics parallel solver Velodyne will be used to analyze highly resolved models using on-site computational facilities comprised of over 20,000 Intel processors. In Phase I, Corvid will leverage ongoing relevant Joint Aircraft Survivability Program Office (JASPO) efforts to model crash events with full airframes, landing gear, and seats of the rotary wing aircraft of interest, along with incorporated occupant models.Corvid will also leverage ongoing advanced human injury modeling capability for the proposed effort. Also in Phase I, Corvid will characterize and further develop EA materials and technologies that effectively improve aircraft survivability.
