Description
This proposal seeks to develop an innovative process for growth of CdZnTe crystal boules with properties that match the stringent requirements of CdZnTe substrates for LWIR mercury cadmium telluride detectors, leveraging significant expertise of the proposing team in crystal growth of CdZnTe. The Phase I of this program will focus on the design and performance evaluation of the growth system.
