Description
The operators of the already successful Pregnancy Rehabilitation & Reintegration Exercise Program (PRREP) based at Dyess AFB have indicated interest to work with Pear Sports to explore and research digital toolsets and technology that could allow the PRREP program to scale and be offered to a wider audience. Pear Sports is proposing to adapt their commercially successful AI platform to digitize and automate the PRREP program to create a comprehensive postpartum support offering for pregnant Airmen regardless of where they are located. The resulting platform will provide Airmen with ready access to the tools they need to optimize their health and fitness during and after pregnancy. This will not only support Airmen throughout the pregnancy journey, but these tools and support will ensure postpartum Airmen are ready to rejoin active duty and be ready to pass the Physical Fitness Test within 12 months of childbirth. The objective of this project is to build a scalable postpartum platform that will increase productivity, optimize health, and decrease absenteeism while maintaining a higher level of readiness by helping pregnant Airmen maintain a health and active lifestyle throughout the childbirth journey.
