Description

Corvid is pleased to offer an innovative load path management solution to ensure the survivability of electronic fuze components in multi-frequency shock environments. Covids solution is superior to conventional encapsulation, potting, and underfill methods by offering mass efficient mitigation of damaging SRS conditions, increased structural integrity, and being detachable. Risk and development time are reduced by using well characterized materials in intelligent combinations and advantageous geometries. Successful concept development is enabled by Corvids unique predictive High Fidelity Computational Physics (HFCP) simulation tools, supercomputing facilities, and a fundamental understanding of shock environments. Our Phase I approach will facilitate a successful Phase II transition beginning with the development of a high-quality prototype design and pyroshock test plan.
