Description
Radar seekers perform a critical function in missile systems. They guide the missile to its intended target. The range of the radar seeker is a critical parameter for determining the effectiveness of the missile. Radar range determines the standoff distance and the range at which a target can be engaged. There are serious limitations to existing solid state seeker radars. They suffer from reduced engagement range, high cost and increased seeker weight. The MPT solution will result in improved radar range, lower cost and the use of COTS components.
